TFWA Membership Fees
The membership is valid for a "two year" term if you are deemed a Temporary Foreign Worker or a foreigner in Canada. Once your membership is submitted to the association, you will receive a membership card in the mail. It will look like a credit card with your personalized membership number on it. This number will link you to our database. It is very important to keep this card with you always!
The fee for this membership is:
Residing WITHIN CANADA
$800.00 cdn
Residing OUTSIDE CANADA
$1000.00 cdn
Payments can be made by Western Union, Visa, Mastercard, Direct Debit, Cash or E-mail Transfer.
Please Read Carefully As The Following Could Jeopardize Your Membership with the Temporary Foreign Workers Association of Canada:
- You must notify TFWA of any address changes, phone number changes and or email changes immediately.
- Balances due on the memberships MUST be paid on or before the due date or your membership will be void without refund.
- The association is NOT responsible for any/all government fees that are required for your processing of paperwork. (example. Work permit government application fee’s are $150)
- TFWA Memberships are non transferrable.
- TFWA Memberships are not refundable.
- All appointment times must be met. If you come after your appointment time, you will expect to wait for an available time slot. If you are going to arrive late or not come to the appointment you MUST call the front desk and let them know. 403-452-TFWA (8392)
- Physical and verbal abuse to any TFWA staff will not be tolerated. Any form of this will result in immediate termination of your membership, even if processing.
- Expect up to 48 hours for a reply to your inquiry.
- TFWA has the right to determine the extent a member can be helped. Every member and every situation is unique.
- TFWA will counsel and advise what appropriate steps a member should take to seek the assistance they require; but the final decision will always be up to the member. Numerous options will be given to the member; but the final courses of action will lay entirely with the member.
- TFWA reminds you to keep your card with you at all times. Assistance will not begin without a membership number.
- Sign your card as soon as it arrives.
- If a friend or family member tries to use your membership, the rightful member will be terminated immediately from TFWA.
